The City of Stonnington was seeking creative and unique solutions for the design and fabrication of custom street furniture units to be installed into the existing retail/ commercial area of Greville Street, Prahran.
ASPECT Studios with Justin Hutchinson Design and Rock Martin developed a set of small prototype units that delivers more greenery, bike parking and seating opportunities in Greville Street.
The objectives of this project were to:
• Design and manufacture prototypes to install on street.
• To create a Melbourne custom designed and manufactured planter and bike locking system.
• Temporarily install green and bike elements in agreed parking spaces.
