The design is inspired by the major natural and cultural features of Melbourne such as the city grid, the Yarra River, Melbourne’s parks and gardens and Port Phillip Bay.

ASPECT Studios worked in conjunction with the City of Melbourne council to develop an interactive children’s play garden in recognition of the 25 year sister city relationship between Tianjin and Melbourne.
The garden acknowledges the cultural links between Melbourne and Tianjin through a series of design motifs including specialised planting, landscaping and play spaces to create a sensory experience for children.
