With operations across Australia, Asia and the Middle East and Europe, ASPECT is seeking talented individuals to join the team in our Melbourne Studio.
About You
We invite applications from qualified, self-motivated Wayfinding Design leaders with significant project experience in signage, wayfinding and interpretative design with 5+ years of experience to join our Signage, Wayfinding and Interpretation Team as part of the larger design practice.
Skills and experience required, includes:
Conceptual design capability to take projects from brief to concept and final art for digital and print projects,
Ability to work to a program with identified outputs and deadlines,
High levels of attention to detail and accuracy – especially for finished art,
Demonstrated spatial awareness and the ability to conceptualise in 3D,
A solid understanding of commercial construction and materials in signage design,
Graphic design skills,
Interpretative design skills,
Attention to detail and accuracy in design drawing,
Organised with good interpersonal skills and able to communicate well with peers and stakeholders,
Advanced InDesign skills as well as other Adobe Creative Cloud programs, Illustrator and Photoshop, and Microsoft Office (Macros),
Understanding of signage documentation, message scheduling, and specifications useful,
An established network within the Signage, Wayfinding and interpretation market,
Business development and proposal writing skills,
Experience in managing positive commercial outcomes of projects.
Our ideal candidate will work across all facets of the design process from strategy and concept development to implementation of large-scale projects, designing and implementing key project components and phases. Experience in design firms would be advantageous but is not essential.
