PIA award win for Victoria Harbour Master Plan

ASPECT | OCULUS, together with Lend Lease, Vic Urban, DPCD, Studio Nield and Contour Planning won the Planning Minister's Award at the Planning Excellence 2011 Victoria awards. Pictured above from left: Erin Johnston, Lauren Nissen, Lawrence Nield, Sacha Coles, Tania Curwood and Ellie Schwab.

The award was selected by the Planning Minister of Victoria from all projects across the state as the one which illustrated excellence in planning. The awards recognise integrated practice and the importance of planning to the delivery of engaging places.

The Victoria Harbour Development Plan 2010 is an exemplar for master planning in Docklands and stands out from the competition across the state. It is a notable strategic document designed to shape the future of this important area of Docklands.

ASPECT | OCULUS is a joint venture between two of Australia’s leading landscape architecture and urban design offices, ASPECT Studios and OCULUS. We are currently progressing with the design development of Victoria Harbour’s public spaces and streets.
