The Goods Line Welcomed by the Public

The Goods Line opened on a brilliantly sunny early Spring last weekend in Ultimo, Sydney.

Visitors were able to access this disused rail corridor which had been off limits to the public for over a century. The newly transformed precinct extends the Ultimo Pedestrian Network from Railway Square, UTS, and the ABC building to the Powerhouse Museum, Chinatown, and evolving Darling Harbour. The link is designed with a rich collection of spaces for different uses, providing the public with opportunities for pause, activity, people watching, and occupation, using the corridor beyond just passing through from one place to another.

Director Sacha Coles had the opportunity to take ABC Radio Mornings host Linda Mottram down the corridors of The Goods Line, through its history and vision. Click here for the link.
