Six ASPECT Projects Shortlisted for Australia’s Premier Awards for Urban Design
Shortlisted revealed in ArchitectureAU   The Australian Urban Design Awards is Australia’s premier awards for excellence and innovation in urban design. The programme, established in 1996 by former Prime Minister Paul Keating’s Urban Design Task Force, aim to encourage cities, towns and communities across the country to strive for best practice by recognising and promoting the nation’s contemporary urban design of the highest quality. The programme has recently revealed its shortlist for 2019 – from ninety-one entries, fifty-two have been shortlisted; and out of the fifty-two, six of ASPECT projects have been selected: Category Built projects – city and regional scale
  • Launceston Civic Square (in collaboration with City of Launceston)
  • Caulfield to Dandenong Level Crossing Removal Project (in collaboration with Cox Architecture, Level Crossing Removal Authority, Lend Lease, CPB)
  • Brisbane Street Mall redevelopment (in collaboration with City of Launceston)
  Category Built projects – local and neighbourhood scale
  • South Eveleigh Youth Space (in collaboration with Convic)
  • Harold Park – (in collaboration with Mirvac)
  • Yerrabingin House (in collaboration with Sissons Architects and Mirvac Group – Office and Industrial)
