Tom always seeks to understand the individual communities, eco-systems and climates of each landscape project. He brings a wealth of technical and construction knowledge to his projects and takes satisfaction from developing innovative technical solutions to complex design problems, seeking out opportunities to engage with other design disciplines, specialists and thinkers throughout the design process.
His project experience has allowed him to develop the skills needed to negotiating project outcomes with complex stakeholder groups. He understands the importance of advocacy and interdisciplinary collaboration in achieving a project’s aspirations.
Tom is passionate about contributing to the sustainable development of our cities, communities, and landscapes. He is also committed to the meaningful engagement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in the design and delivery of landscape projects.
Tom received his MA in Landscape Architecture from the University of Melbourne. He is also an AILA Registered Landscape Architect and a member of the AILA Biodiversity Positive Design Working Group.
