The Practice

About You

We have an exciting opportunity for a mid-level BIM Coordinator to join the team. If you’re a Landscape Architect, Architect, Engineer or Building Designer that has experience managing complex REVIT models, we want to speak to you. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years model management experience and will be fluent in REVIT 21, Revisto, BIM 360 and Project Wise. You will act as a conduit between multiple design disciplines ensuring our models are working efficiently and are successfully integrated. This role will lead, provide, and facilitate BIM, computational design and visualisation on their project. You will be an experienced practitioner with proven project delivery skills using Revit combined with advanced scripting techniques.


The role:

  • The BIM Coordinator takes responsibility for the health of the project model and ensures that all team members can access and contribute to the model efficiently through best practice use of the digital assets and assurance that all team members have the required understanding of BIM standards.
  • Monitor and establish effective BIM workflows.
  • Establish, and understand the requirements of required BIM Management plans.


We’re looking for applicants with:

  • Expertise in relevant 3D design technology e.g. Revit (essential)
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of BIM practices in AEC and Landscape Architecture,
  • Expertise in the planning and execution of documentation drawings and producing BIM models,
  • Current knowledge of design technology trends, innovation and industry adoption in Australia,
  • Active experimentation and problem-solving skills,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • An open and collaborative approach to problem solving,
  • Autodesk Revit including experience using BIM360 and Navisworks,
  • Knowledge of Australian and International BIM Guidelines or standards, and
  • Knowledge of best practice software interoperability.


Preferred skills and experience:

  • Rhino, Revizto, Autodesk AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM360, and
  • Awareness and / or desire to learn basic coding principles, Python, C#, Grasshopper, Dynamo.
