Project Manager / Document Controller – Transport and Infrastructure - Sydney

 

 

The Team

Our Integrated Transport Team is leading the implementation of new urban transport systems across Sydney. We design spaces and systems that resolve complex issues confronting our built and natural environments. Through design we’re able to advocate for sustainable transport solutions which provide equitable access to our cities, places and nature.

 

We currently have an exciting pipeline of transport projects including infrastructure such as metro and light rail, as well as street design and walking and cycling initiatives.

 

 

About You

We’re looking for a Project Manager/Document Controller to join our growing Integrated Transport Team. Our ideal candidate will have a keen interest in project management, quality assurance and compliance. You will have a background in landscape architecture, architecture, planning, engineering or design, and have 5 – 10 years’ experience delivering large transport and infrastructure projects.

 

You’ll work collaboratively with your peers to manage projects, submissions and document control systems (e.g. Teambinder, Aconex, and SharePoint), whilst identifying areas for continuous improvement. You will also take on the responsibility of upskilling your team in project management and document control procedures.

We’re looking for applicants with:

  • Experience in a similar role in construction or infrastructure;
  • Outstanding communication and relationship building skills,
  • Time management, planning and organisation skills, with strong attention to detail;
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, Teambinder, Aconex, Projectwise, and Sharepoint;
  • Demonstrated strength in design and documentation, and working with project teams; and
  • A keen interest in significant city-shaping transport and infrastructure projects is preferred.
