The Australian Urban Design Awards is Australia’s premier awards for excellence and innovation in urban design. The programme, established in 1996 by former Prime Minister Paul Keating’s Urban Design Task Force, aim to encourage cities, towns and communities across the country to strive for best practice by recognising and promoting the nation’s contemporary urban design of the highest quality. The programme has recently revealed its shortlist for 2019 – from ninety-one entries, fifty-two have been shortlisted; and out of the fifty-two, six of ASPECT projects have been selected:
