A great pleasure of our work lies in revisiting projects to see how people and nature have made them their own.

Prahran Square in Melbourne has gone from strength to strength since it opened in 2019. The project has demonstrated the value of regenerative design by adding new biodiversity, including birds and other wildlife, to what was once a harsh urban environment. The space has been adapted to suit the evolving needs of the community, with new seats and planters added over the years.

The square's main purpose was to house public events and festivals, such as the current striking Iwagumi Air Scape installation by ENESS, which is open until August 17 and should be experienced in person if you're in the area! This public artwork attracts visitors into the evening, further developing the square's use as a community hub.
