Richard is an Associate Studio Director in the Melbourne studio. His enthusiasm for creating functional and innovative public spaces built on deep connection to the community has paved the way for his recent focus on large scale integrated transport projects.
During his career, Richard has been drawn to complex projects that require a unique combination of commercial acumen, design capability and detailed project management. His extensive design experience spans multiple geographies and typologies. Most recently, these projects include the significant Caulfield to Dandenong Level Crossing Removal Project and his current focus on the Level Crossing Removal Projects.
Richard’s passion lies in ensuring that integrated transport projects maintain a strong design element that enhance the community offering. Richard believes in delivering tangible outcomes for the communities in which these projects reside, which is why he is championing the implementation of technology-driven post-occupancy analysis to effectively measure the value back to the community and key stakeholders.
