The Grove
ASPECT Studios has created a network of parks, plazas and courtyards for a major mixed-use development in Perth’s Claremont. The site has been organised to create a significant open space program for the future residents and local community.
The Airlie Street development incorporates 245 residences, a café and provedore, wellness centre, health and beauty services and community amenities, set amongst 10,000m2 of open space. The development will create a landmark development on a key Stirling Highway site in Claremont.

Our process began with, and was continuously informed by, a deep dive into the history of the site to develop a site-specific project that would reference the local character homes, tree lined streets and natural landscape character to create a significant new public open space within Claremont.
The resulting design delineates several discrete yet complementary spaces, including a green boulevard to Stirling Highway, a sheltered urban plaza with al fresco, sensory gardens, playground, event spaces, a major new public park.
These discrete spaces work together to meet the needs of both residents and the wider community.
