As Studio Director, Kate has been involved in many of the Sydney Studios key projects – providing expertise in strategic design, design development and construction detailing, as well as being a key partner in all aspects of running the studio.
Over the last 2 years Kate has led teams working on significant urban renewal and infrastructure projects including the Sydney International Convention, Exhibition and Entertainment precinct; North West Rail Link; and Sydney Light Rail. Through these projects, Kate has developed expertise in designing public domains integrated with public transport infrastructure.
She is an advocate for high quality integrated play space design and child friendly cities and regularly presents at conferences, universities and to forums for AILA members.
