ASPECT Studios joins team transforming London's Oxford Street

ASPECT Studios will be playing a key role in the ambitious Oxford Street Transformation Programme.

Working alongside Hawkins\Brown and their partners, we are contributing our expertise in regenerative landscape and urban design to the Whole Street Concept Design for the full length of Oxford Street in London, from Marble Arch to Tottenham Court Road.

Oxford Street is one of the the world’s most high-profile thoroughfares, attracting half a million visitors daily. However, its current form presents significant challenges: heavy traffic, poor air quality, and safety concerns limit its true potential. Our focus will be on ensuring the street’s landscape and public realm design supports the Mayor’s mission to create a better, greener, and more sustainable London for all.

This transformation is an opportunity to respond to the overwhelmingly positive public desire for change. Mayor Sadiq Khan's bold vision - to create a safer, more comfortable, and greener public space - perfectly aligns with our commitment to designing sustainable, human-centric cities.

ASPECT Studios is proud to be part of the multidisciplinary team producing the Whole Street Concept Design, led by Hawkins\Brown, which includes Urban Movement, Michael Grubb Studio, and Authentic Futures.

As Will Norman, London’s Walking and Cycling Commissioner stated:
