The Alibaba Xixi Campus in Hangzhou has been shortlisted for the World Architecture Festival Awards in the Landscape category.
It’s a true honour to be among just 12 shortlisted projects for the award. We’re incredibly pleased for our Shanghai studio and their collaborators for this recognition of this thoughtful, technologically sophisticated and ecologically regenerative work. The project is also a finalist for the Best Use of Colour Award.

The project involved creating a thriving ecosystem atop a multi-level podium. The parkland is a network of regenerative design outcomes, from a water recycling lake to microclimate-regulating structures, all while supporting the recreation, health and connection of more than 30,000 employees.

We’re looking forward to presenting this project to the jury at the World Architecture Festival in Miami this November, where hopefully we will replicate the success of the Melbourne studio, TCL and the City of Melbourne, who won the 2024 WAF Award in the Future Projects - Master Planning category for the Greenline project.

Congratulations again to the team on the ongoing success of this project.
