Murdoch New Academic Building

Murdoch University’s New Academic Building is the largest project undertaken by the university in the last 20 years and represents an exciting opportunity to reinforce the value of landscape as a defining and major structuring element for the campus. The project marks the beginning of a visionary transformation that will unlock the campus centre, consolidate the academic core, and provide a new address for the university.

The design includes is a series of high-quality crafted interventions that carefully integrate into the existing topography, built fabric and landscape context. The new building and landscape work together to make all manner of new activations possible, setting the stage for a wider cultural and spatial transformation of Murdoch campus.
