Terroir: Adelaide Hills Wine Region Interactive Map
ASPECT Studios made the world of wine more accessible to the general public with this exploratory digital map for Adelaide Hills Wine.
The project began with a digital cartographic audit which provided the basis for 3D terrain mapping and a cross-browser web application. The map combines several data sources, digital elevation models and hand-drawn topographic contour mapping to demarcate the boundaries of various wine regions and display a soil analysis layer for wine makers.
