Our very own Renee Boyd has been recognised for her leadership, passion and ability by Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) Victoria with the Future Leader Award in the 2024 Victorian Landscape Architecture Awards.

A Student Landscape Architect at ASPECT Studios in Melbourne, Renee is due to complete her Master of Landscape Architecture at RMIT University later this year. Her leadership as a committee member of the RMIT Student Landscape Architecture body has helped build a culture of support at RMIT, and her work as part of the editorial team for KerbJournal ., a student-led journal, has extended critical commentary on landscape architecture to an international audience.

At ASPECT, Renee has worked on a wide range of projects, including level crossing removals and major civic projects.

The jury recognised her for continuing “a legacy of student leadership that is shaping the future of our profession and amplifying the voice of landscape architects locally and internationally.” We couldn’t agree more.
