We are thrilled to announce that at this year’s Tasmanian Landscape Architecture Awards, held at Hobart’s Brickworks, ASPECT Studios was honoured for two projects. In collaboration with Lyons we where honoured with both a Regional Achievement Award and a Landscape Architecture Award for Parks and Open Space for Devonport Waterfront Park.
This transformative urban renewal project was praised as a design that "weaves across a complex set of infrastructures, masterfully connecting the collection of civic buildings to the water and invigorating the waterfront."
In addition, ASPECT Studios was awarded a Landscape Architecture Award in Health and Education Landscape for Riawuanna Garden at River’s Edge, at the University of Tasmania. Created in collaboration with Palawa artists Lynne Spotswood and Genie Battese, and T3D Studios, this project places cultural performance and ceremonial space at its heart. It offers a space for learning, reflection, and connection — shaped by locally sourced materials and deep cultural knowledge.
Congratulations to our talented team and our incredible collaborators for bringing these important projects to life.
