The Roof in Shanghai showcases hundreds of planters filled with flowers, shrubs, trees, and draping flora arranged at varying heights and depths. These plants are layered to highlight seasonal shifts in colour, transforming the landscape from a static expression of green into a dynamic, living façade.
Crafted with meticulous care and designed using climatic modelling techniques, each planting cluster is carefully selected to create a unique visual display and an environment that encourages nature, insects, and pollinators.
The abundant greenery fosters a deep connection with nature from both inside and outside each room, promoting a meaningful and balanced urban landscape. Reflecting the diversity of the surrounding area's plant life, the greenery is designed to be bold and create lasting value for future generations.
