University at Buffalo - The Resilient Campus

A team comprising ASPECT Studios and Woods Bagot has been named as one of seven teams taking part in a design competition hosted by the University at Buffalo in New York.

The Resilient Campus competition challenge asks us to reimagine UB’s South Campus — currently pursuing carbon neutrality —through a dual lens of ecological systems and architectural adaptability.

Over 16 weeks, our team will design at both campus and building scale, working with faculty, students, and experts to propose a vision of resilience for future climate scenarios.

We relish this opportunity to think ambitiously about resilience in a North American context. We’ll have more to share in the future.
