George Jerez is a landscape architect with experience across the full project lifecycle, from concept design through to construction. His work is grounded in a landscape-led approach, focused on delivering thoughtful, place-responsive public realm outcomes across NSW.
Since joining ASPECT Studios, George has contributed to major city-shaping projects that reflect the evolving urban landscape of Sydney. He is a key member of the Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2 Reference Design team, a significant infrastructure project delivering over 10 kilometres of active transport corridors integrated with a diverse and high-quality public domain. His role has centred on embedding landscape and open space outcomes within the broader transport framework, supporting vibrant and accessible community environments.
George has also played an important role in the development of Bradfield Central Park, a 2-hectare open space within the emerging Western Sydney Aerotropolis. Involved from early concept design through to construction documentation, he has contributed to shaping a foundational civic space that will support a new and dynamic city centre.
George brings curiosity, enthusiasm and a reflective mindset to his practice. He values continuous learning and strives to build on each project experience, responding to increasing complexity and evolving expectations. For George, landscape architecture is fundamental to creating public places that are engaging, sustainable and resilient.
