Cottesloe Foreshore Redevelopment
ASPECT Studios is leading the redevelopment of one of Australia’s most treasured beaches.
A careful reading of the site’s history and existing use patterns set the foundation for the project. The primary objectives of the project were to redevelop the existing foreshore in a manner that respected the unique sense of place and character of Cottesloe, while developing a contemporary, pedestrian-focused foreshore.

The plan was developed in consultation with the community and aims to increase amenity, improve beach access, resolve traffic and parking problems, unlock the potential of council landholdings, make streetscape improvements and develop a design and material language that will make a valuable contribution to the beloved site.
ASPECT Studios has shepherded the project through the detailed design phase, with the plan adopted in its entirety by the Town of Cottesloe in 2021.
