Projects with purpose and impact
Do you want to deliver great outcomes for your clients, enhance the life of users, strengthen community, and protect the environment? So do we. ASPECT is a values-driven organisation, and we hire values-driven individuals. Those who join us will be passionate about delivering innovative work in line with our collective purpose.
Regenerative design
ASPECT is shifting from sustainability to regeneration - creating projects that restore ecosystems, support communities, and leave a positive legacy. We’re embracing new tools, materials, and methods to lower carbon footprints, boost biodiversity, reuse resources, and measure long-term impact. It’s a studio-wide evolution, driven by urgency, shared values, and the belief that design can do more.
Designing with country
Country is central to our practice. As landscape architects and designers, we care deeply for the environment and work to build stronger connections between people and place. We are constantly learning through ongoing relationships with Traditional Custodians and draw on Indigenous knowledge to shape meaningful and responsive design.
Purchased leave initiative
There are a lot of special moments in life, and ASPECT doesn’t want you to miss out on any of them. By purchasing up to an additional two (2) weeks of leave per year, eligible staff are able to take the time they need to be with family and loved ones, to study, see the world, or simply to rest and recoup.
Generous paid parental leave
As an inclusive, family-friendly workplace, we are passionate about supporting new parents to balance family and work commitments. Our Paid Parental Leave benefits include up to ten (10) weeks at full pay regardless of primary- or secondary-carer status, and a year of superannuation continuance. Our Policy is flexible, gender neutral, and purposefully designed to break down the gender-pay gap while supporting smooth transitions back into the workforce.
MAPS days
To foster curiosity and bring challenge and delight to our staff, ASPECT offers four (4) paid MAPS days per year to learn and experience something new - you to choose how you spend them. Want to learn more about sustainable design, take an indigenous language course, visit a public arts project, build a community garden, or explore ideas on design technology innovation? It’s an opportunity to take a break from the day-to-day, tap into your passion and build transferrable skills that you’ll later share with your colleagues.
