Last week, we were honoured to see our Kalgoorlie City Centre Redevelopment win the 2025 Bruce Mackenzie Landscape Award at the Think Brick Australia Awards. The awards celebrate innovative design and craftsmanship, encouraging designers to push boundaries.

The project transforms a civic precinct into a welcoming and dynamic urban space for families, visitors, and businesses. Inspired by the town's unique history and environment, the design features custom paving, street furniture, and water features that connect historic buildings with future developments.

By revitalising the city centre, we've created a series of interconnected public spaces that support daily community life through social interaction, play, and events. The project is a prime example of how thoughtful design can drive economic growth and revitalise the historic heart of a city by attracting locals, tourists, and new businesses.

According to the awards jury, "Every regional town in Australia needs an intervention like this, and this landscape response has really looked at what Kalgoorlie is as a town."
