ASPECT LOFTUS LANE FLORIAN GROEHN 60
The Australian Institute of Architects National Architecture Awards shortlist has been released, and we’re thrilled to see two of our projects on the shortlist for the Urban Design category.

Quay Quarter Lanes, located in Sydney and undertaken in partnership with SJB, Silvester Fuller, Studio Bright, Carter Williamson Architects, and Lippmann Partnership, is a porous city precinct that layers different kinds of public activity in Sydney’s Quay Quarter. The project as a whole transforms the existing streets and laneways by adding fine-grain connections of through-site links and arcades to create a network of delightful and discoverable public spaces.

East End Newcastle is a collaborative effort between ASPECT Studios, SJB with Durbach Block Jaggers, and Tonkin Zulaikha Greer Architects. With striking coastal beauty a stones throw away, East End is set to be a bustling precinct, with spaces that work from morning to night to provide opportunities for people to undertake all sorts of activities. The project strives to create a space that allows multipurpose functionality, for all ages and demographics.
