Douglas Maeda

With a background in architecture completed in Brazil, Douglas has been working as an urban designer since completing his Masters in Urban Design at the University of Adelaide. He has over 10 years experience in a wide variety of project from master planning, transport infrastructure, large civic spaces, and local scale community areas.
Douglas has been involved in significant projects in South Australia, including the University of Adelaide North Terrace Campus Public Realm, Rundle Mall Redevelopment and the Ovingham Level Crossing Removal Project. He has also been involved with significant rail infrastructure projects in Victoria, and international projects such as Alburouj Development and Oman Across Ages Museum.
He has a strong passion for collaborative work as a tool for the best design solutions. His main goal as a designer is to help develop liveable cities focused on outcomes tailored to local communities and areas.
