Yan is an Associate in the Brisbane Studio, assisting the team in delivering on every project stage, from bids and proposals to construction completions. He brings extensive experience in multi-residential developments in South East Queensland, recently shifting his focus to master planning and public realm projects.
Yan has experience working abroad in China and locally in Brisbane. Over the last decade, he has acquired a vast knowledge base and skillset from his time working in international multi-disciplinary firms and local boutique design studios.

Being an avid hiker and travel photographer, Yan feels inspired by the ever-changing lighting, terrains, and textures in nature. He is passionate about design details, effective verbal and visual communication, and supporting other team members to reach their goals and potential.
Since becoming an AILA registered landscape architect, Yan has realigned his career pathway with his personal passion. He is dedicated to revitalise the healthy connection between humans, their communities and nature in projects of varied scales.
