Ballarat GovHub
The landscapes that surround the Ballarat GovHub knit together a variety of civic institutions and forge a new urban heart for the city.
ASPECT Studios created several new public spaces and a wayfinding strategy to integrate seamlessly with the urban inspirations of this new dynamic regional workplace. The project is poised to revitalise a major part of the Ballarat CBD.

Located between the existing Civic Hall, Ballarat library and the new GovHub are a series of connected spaces, plazas, a laneway, central lawn and conservatory, which work to complement the existing character of the city and strengthen their individual civic functions through connection.
The GovHub now sits at the heart of a lively precinct that fosters the connection between community spaces and government activity. It will diversify the range of jobs on offer, increase business confidence, attract more people to regional Victoria and will be home to over one thousand Victorian Government employees.
