After many years of planning and design, Wearing Street Precinct at Port Noarlunga is now open to the public!
Since 2018, ASPECT Studios has led the project to transform the site, located on the banks of the Onkaparinga River behind coastal dunes, into a thriving recreational precinct.
Following completion of Stage 1 works in 2024 which included new recreational accommodation buildings, Stage 2 works include a substantially increased river beach, custom designed community facilities including a large shelter, seating and amenities block, improved accessibility and parking, and softscape works of indigenous planting, shade trees, turf and water sensitive urban design raingardens.
