The landscape design for the Village Green incorporates a paved central plaza adjacent a children’s play area, a large spill out lawn and accent planting beds. The design builds on the existing alignment of remnant Eucalypt species present on site. A steel and perforated mesh shade structure is proposed above a concrete stage. Custom built precast concrete seating scattered around the plaza and on the main street provide space for passive recreation and activate the edge of the central space.
