Scott Badham
AILA
Associate
Scott is an Associate in our Sydney Studio who brings extensive experience on public domain, educational and mixed use design schemes during his time spent in the UK and Australia. Adept at working across all stages of the design and delivery process, Scott collaborates with architects and engineers to create spaces that are authentic, creative, and sensitive to nature.
He leads projects of varying scales and complexity across New South Wales, from city shaping infrastructure such as Waterloo Metro Quarter, to the Young Street ‘pop-up’ plaza in North Sydney. Other notable projects include Surry Hills Village, MAAS Museum Discovery Centre, and Central Place Sydney.
His design philosophy that landscape architecture should always be a response to the unique qualities of a site, helps to create rich, layered, and contextual responses in his work. His background as a graphic designer enables him to challenge the traditional rules of landscape representation, giving him particular strengths in developing concepts and creating a unique visual style in his projects.
