Banjo Park at Smiths Lane receives commendation at the Casey Design Excellence Awards

Our very own Heidi Nurmio attended the awards ceremony, which took place at Bunjil Place. The jury selected a total of 11 projects to receive awards and commendations.

Banjo Park is the first park project to open as part of Mirvac's ongoing Smiths Lane development. The design was inspired by Cardinia Creek and the native Banjo Frog. It features water and adventure play areas, a half basketball court, and areas of green open space for picnics and sport.

The City of Casey is the first metropolitan council to establish a design excellence program, and we are thrilled to have been a part of putting it into action. Congratulations to all our colleagues and collaborators who also received awards and commendations as part of this program.
