Establishing a world-class health, research, and education precinct, the new development will link the University of NSW campus to the adjacent Sydney Children's Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital.

Understanding the integral role nature plays in healthcare and educational settings, the landscape will deliver an enhanced environment for visitors, students, and staff.

Key features include a central plaza known as the ‘green heart’, and 2,500-square-metres of north-facing open public space, providing a significant sun-filled area.

Responding to the long and layered history of the place, planting, furniture, paving, play elements, and the ground plane, have been carefully considered and designed with an integrated approach that connects to Country.

Providing new and invaluable connectivity between the institutions, the public realm will offer a variety of places for people to gather, reflect, and share ideas.

The project is due for completion in 2025.
