Bringing together the best in international innovation and design, the 2023 Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) Awards were announced 19th October as part of the annual CTBUH conference in Singapore/Kuala Lumpur.

Aspect Studios is pleased to announce that Quay Quarter Lanes was the overall winner in the Urban Habitat Award category and congratulate everyone who worked on the project, including SJB, Silvester Fuller, Studio Bright, Carter Williamson, Lippmann Partnership, Urbis, and Dexus.


Located in Sydney’s Quay Quarter, Quay Quarter Lanes creates a pedestrian-focused precinct by transforming existing laneways, adding fine-grain connections, and creating a network of delightful public places with an emphasis on planting and public art.


It was a fantastic night on an international stage, with our Global Design Director Sacha Coles presenting.


Several projects ASPECT Studios has collaborated on, also triumphed, with the following projects receiving multiple awards across different categories.

Quay Quarter Tower, Sydney, received several awards including overall Best Tall Building Worldwide. AMP Capital (now Dexus). Architect: 3XN/ BVN.


Atlassian Central, Sydney, was the overall winner in the Future Project Award. Atlassian and Dexus. Architect: SHoP/ BVN



80 Ann Street, Brisbane, received an Award of Excellence in Best Tall Building 100-199 meters. Mirvac. Architect: Woods Bagot


STH BNK by Beulah, Melbourne, received an Award of Excellence in the Future Project Award. Beulah. Architect: UnStudio/ Cox.
