SA Water’s "Activating Reservoirs for Healthy Communities" is a project that focuses on opening vast areas of land and water for recreation across South Australia including sites at Happy Valley, Hope Valley, and Myponga. We’re excited to say that the project has won the award a National Parks and Leisure Australia Award for Community Based Initiative of the Year!
Our Adelaide studio was commissioned to develop master plans for a number of these sites, providing unique responses to recreational opportunities including walking and cycling, aquatic activities and fishing, tourism, and community wellbeing.
We want to offer hearty congratulations to SA Water for this award, which recognises the significance of these projects and the importance of reactivating previously unused areas for communities to access.
