Parramatta Civic Link
In partnership with SJB, ASPECT Studios has designed a 500-meter linear park that creates a vibrant green corridor through Parramatta's CBD. Running along a north-south axis, the park begins at Parramatta Square’s northern edge and extends to the new MAAS site and river precinct.

Envisioned as "a vibrant green heart for Australia’s next great city," the pedestrianised public space provides a cultural spine that connects Parramatta's primary civic and riverfront spaces. The design pays homage to the area’s environmental context and celebrates Parramatta’s rich and diverse history.
Key features include an outdoor event space adjacent to the Roxy Theatre, newly activated building edges, optimized vehicle flow, children’s play areas, urban games, and enhanced public spaces. The park also incorporates significant Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) elements, increased tree canopy, and provisions for sustainable energy and water treatment, all contributing to a green and sustainable future for Parramatta.
