ASPECT Studios is pleased to welcome Tamsin McLean (Chief Operating Officer) and Katherine English (Brisbane Studio Director) as new shareholders.

ASPECT Studios Chair and Founder Chris Razzell said the new shareholders had played important roles in supporting ASPECT’s pursuit of purpose.

“Tamsin and Katherine have made distinct and important contributions to the development and growth of the practice, and I’m thrilled that they have been recognized for their efforts.”

“Katherine has defined ASPECT’s work in Brisbane through her sensitive design and generous leadership, while Tamsin’s work as COO has shaped ASPECT’s global strategy and positioned the business for success in a challenging environment.”

Katherine is the Studio Director of our Brisbane Studio. She brings nearly two decades of professional experience to bear on the studio’s diverse portfolio, which has grown and developed under her stewardship. Her work is rooted in the belief that good landscape design involves respecting legacies of the past and providing platforms for stories of the future.

A natural leader and mentor, Katherine also represents the practice through her teaching and educational efforts. She regularly acts as a seasonal lecturer at QUT, participating in student critique sessions, and chairing in AILA registration candidate panels.

Following a fruitful working relationship with ASPECT Studios, Tamsin was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2020. Her focus on strategy development and execution has supported ASPECT during an ambitious period of growth.

Tamsin is valued across the practice for her work in fostering a dynamic, supportive environment in which people can flourish. She is dedicated to the business and its people, and her continued leadership and efforts are steering the practice toward a promising future.

ASPECT Studios congratulates Tamsin and Katherine on becoming shareholders and looks forward to their continued contributions to ASPECT’s purpose – to create projects which challenge and delight, whilst enhancing the lives of people and natural systems in an enduring way.
