As part of its continued growth and evolution as a leader in landscape architecture and urban design, ASPECT Studios is delighted to announce the appointment of Nancy Fox (AM) to its Board as a Non-Executive Director. The practice is also pleased to welcome three new shareholders; Tom Griffiths (Studio Director), Michael Rowlands (Studio Director) and Adam Kiekebosch (Infrastructure Director).

Nancy is passionate about creating sustainable places, and aligned with ASPECT Studio’s purpose, she strongly believes in the relationship between the human and natural environments. She has a wealth of experience as a Non-Executive Director, is allied to the practice’s global thinking and has played a significant role in developing and leading successful businesses for over 20 years, in Australia and internationally.

During a career that has spanned Australia, North America and Asia, Nancy has worked in capital markets, infrastructure, investments, credit and risk management. She has served for over 15 years on ASX listed and unlisted boards and has over 10 years of experience as a CEO. Her current directorships include Perpetual Ltd, ING Australia, Lawcover, Mission Australia and Chair of the Perpetual Equity Investment Company.

Speaking about the appointment of Nancy Fox, ASPECT Studios Chair and Founder, Chris Razzell said:

“We are very much looking forward to working with Nancy. We share a drive and commitment to enhance the lives of people and natural systems and like us, she is passionate about creating places people want to be. Her previous experience and knowledge of successfully developing businesses across a range of markets around the world will be a true asset to us. We are delighted that we have been able to add depth to our board with such an experienced and capable individual as we continue our international transition into an ‘equity partner led’ model of business.”

ASPECT Studios are also pleased to announce three new shareholders. Tom Griffiths and Michael Rowlands, Studio Directors for ASPECT’s Perth Studio, and Adam Kiekebosch, group Infrastructure Director. All three have played a key role in the progress of the business over the past few years as the company continues to explore new markets and horizons.

Welcoming the three new shareholders Chris Razzell said:

“Tom, Michael and Adam have not only proven their ability to design and deliver projects which improve our cities and places in thoughtful, creative and sustainable ways, but they have demonstrated leadership to grow and develop our business in line with our purpose.”

ASPECT Studios CEO Ivan Ross further commented:

“I am delighted to welcome our latest shareholders. All are key leaders within our business, who have played an important role in recent years in the growth of the practice. As we continue to evolve, we have also been seeking to strengthen our ability to grow into new markets and sectors. This has been exemplified by the work of Adam, Tom and Mike.

“It is a testament to the great work done by Chris as Chair and Founder - along with his two fellow Directors Kirsten Bauer and Sacha Coles - that they have not only led ASPECT Studios to become a leading landscape architecture practice, but also that they have laid the groundwork to give the opportunity of ownership to others who share in that spirit and endeavour. By enabling an equity ownership model, these new shareholders will now continue to deliver on our purpose and shape the strategic direction of the business as we continue to grow and compete internationally.”
