Alburouj - Residential Development
ASPECT Studios envisioned a network of culture, nature, living and business in its design concept for the central parklands in this new residential development in Cairo
Working in collaboration with Cox Architecture, ASPECT Studios progressed to the schematic design phase when the success of the commission broadened and the client invited the team to also develop concepts for the streetscapes and planting buffers for the new overall development. Wayfinding and the preparation of a signage strategy for the precinct were part of this commission.

The concept outlines a hierarchy of street typologies with specific characteristics in order to achieve the vision of a pleasantly shady public realm experience, connecting the Alburouj community with the key features of the development with the aid of a legible system of wayfinding for vehicles and pedestrians.
