Inspiration has been drawn from the primary elements of wind, land, sky and water. These are expressed in art and built form, organisation and structure. The plan is rooted in natural systems, with an axial spine anchoring all activities, a curved experiential park route and numerous nodes for programmed activities.
With respect for the heritage and a cognisance of the environmental value of the area, the design emphasizes sustainability driven by smart, IT-driven management and operating technology.
Concentrated moments of intensity allow the park to expand and contract to suit the climate and the community’s programmatic needs. During the day, a visitor will have a targeted purpose for their park experience, whereas at night the park loosens up under the stellar vista of the constellations above.
